made no resolutions, no promises to me
life, like time changes things you see
making myself more not less
will ultimately be out of my hands I guess
People in our lives make us different and real
& time and life change the way we feel
the importance of things is different for each
but we must believe in that for which we reach
So I made no resolutions, no promises to me
life and time are fluid any fool can see
the changes life hands us are for us each, alone
in the end think of all the time we’ve blown
By making resolutions and promises we don’t keep
this will make me more not less, a leopard not a sheep
so I remain true to that which I believe
because that for which I reach is immune to times sieve
