Submissions Guidelines

What We're Looking For: Pretty much any flash, poetry or short fiction from 10 to 10,000 words is acceptable with the following exceptions.

• There will be no pornographic matter EVER published in Lamoille Lamentations. I want our kids to be able to read this.

• While a bit of passion in a story is okay, erotica simply for the sake of being erotic will not be accepted.

• We're not interested in Gay/Lesbian material. 

• Absolutely NO limericks.

• Any hate literature is unacceptable. By hate literature, we don't mean two characters that hate each other. We mean any writing that promotes or encourages any ill feelings towards any group based on nationality, race, gender, sexual preference, religion or any other matter that is a person's own business.

• Grossness for the sake of grossness. We think that's gross.

Opinion pieces are welcome as well, providing that they proscribe to the above conditions.

Line Art, photographs and other graphics are always welcome additions for decorating the pages of the journal. Send your submissions to submissions@mwgraves.com for consideration. Payment for your submissions is non-existent and the prestige is not much better (yet, anyway). But you'll always have the satisfaction of knowing that forty-seven people read your story.
